Class guide
Everything a trainer will teach, level by level and then rank by rank.
Hunter
Never fights alone, and never at melee range if it can help it.
The hunter is built around a distance it is trying to keep and a pet that is trying to buy it. Aspects set the standing posture, Stings sit on the target as damage that does not need attention, and traps handle whatever the pet could not hold. Played well the class never lets anything reach it; played badly it spends the fight in melee with a dead pet, which is where most of the difficulty lives.
It also touches more schools of magic than anything else in the game — six of them — despite being a class most people think of as a bow. That breadth is why its toolkit reads so long: pet management, tracking, traps and aspects are all separate lines of the spellbook before a single shot is fired.
What Forever changed
Aimed Shot is a trainer ability at 20 now. Two shots get their price rewritten as a share of the mana bar instead of a flat number — Multi-Shot from 100 mana to 13.9% of base, Scorpid Sting from 70 to 9% — and Multi-Shot’s cooldown comes down from ten seconds to six. That is the good news; the traps are the bad, with Immolation, Freezing, Frost and Explosive Trap all moving from a fifteen-second cooldown to thirty.
The aura arrives far earlier than it used to: Trueshot Aura reaches rank 2 at 32 instead of 50 and rank 3 at 40 instead of 60, and Counterattack’s second rank comes at 30 rather than 42. Thirteen abilities are new, including Chimera Shot, Kill Command, Carve, Flanking Strike, Lacerate and two more Aspects. One ability has left the trainer outright — Wyvern Sting.

Level not recorded
The client lists these in the class’s skill line like every other trainable ability, but its level table is empty for them — so where they belong on the road above is not something we can read off it.
Gone from the trainer
A Classic trainer taught these and this one does not. Hovering any of them shows it as Classic had it.
